2. Msc. in Forensics and Security Management
Minimum Requirements
A candidate must satisfy one of the following admission requirements:
a) Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Police Science, Military Science, Criminology and Security studies with at least Upper Second Class Honours or its equivalent from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology or any other University recognized and approved by the DeKUT Senate.
OR
b) Be a holder of a Bachelor Degree Police Science, Military Science, Criminology, Security with Lower Second Class Honours or its equivalent from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology or any other University recognized and approved by the Senate provided the candidate has additional relevant training, evidence of research capability either through research, paper presentations or peer reviewed publications and relevant working experience.
OR
c) Any other recognized qualification deemed as being an adequate prerequisite for the Msc. Forensics and Security Management Programme by DeKUT Senate.

Minimum Requirements
Be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Economic Finance or Economics Statistics; with at least Upper Second Class Honors from a University recognized by DeKUT Senate OR Be holder of a Bachelor Degree in any of the areas indicated above with Lower Second Class Honors from a University recognized by DeKUT Senate provided the candidate has relevant postgraduate qualifications or more than two (2) years of relevant work experience OR Be a holder of any other equivalent qualification from institutions recognized by DeKUT Senate.

Minimum Requirements

6. Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Security Management
For the disciplined forces among them, the Police, Military, Prison and Security Officers.
Minimum Requirements
KCSE Aggregate Grade of C+ (plus) and with a C (plain) in either English or Kiswahili OR Holders of KACE Certificate with a minimum of two principal passes and one subsidiary OR Holders of an accredited Diploma or Higher Diploma in Criminology & Security Management, Police and or Military Science, Forensics Science and or Psychology, and Computer Forensics with a Credit Pass that is recognized by DeKUT Senate and with a minimum of C- (minus) at KCSE OR Any other qualification accepted by DeKUT Senate as equivalent to any of the above OR Holders of an accredited Diploma in Security, Investigation, Prosecution and Disaster Management with a minimum of Credit Pass may qualify for Credit transfers.
