About

The Bachelor of Science Nursing programme is designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to provide leadership in professional nursing practice, education, health care administration and participation in research. The graduates will be enabled to develop and integrate critical thinking and problem solving skills into the practice of nursing.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (UPGRADING)  
Minimum Entry Requirements
The applicant must be a Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) OR Kenya Registered Nurse/ Midwife (KRN/KRM/PH). Must be currently registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and posses a valid Nursing Council of Kenya practice license with a minimum of 2 years nursing experience. In addition the candidate must possess Either :
i.A Minimum entry of C ( plain) in KCSE
ii.Division II in KCE

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (DIRECT ENTRY)  
Minimum Entry Requirements
A minimum grade of C+ in KCSE with a C+ in Biology/Biological Sciences, English/Kiswahili, Mathematics/ physics and Chemistry
OR
Equivalent qualifications as recognized by the University Senate.
