Course Description of East African School of Aviation Executive MBA

The Executive MBA (Aviation) is unique as it is the only one of its kind in Africa. The EMBA program is designed for Business Executives who would like to further their professional and personal development horizon in the business profession. Their qualifications and experiences in business management practices will be given due weight, therefore, they would be expected to complete the program in one calendar year. The program offers an ideal setting for the exchange of ideas and experiences between fellow students and faculty. While in the program, the executive will have an opportunity to make a network of contracts and friends as they learn new business skills.

All fees structures are subject to conditions
Students without a degree will be required to do extra business courses which will cost an additional Kshs. 40,000

Students will be required at pay at least 80% of the full fees upon admission into the programme.
Successful applicants will be notified of the reporting date in their admission letters.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION

A minimum of 42 units examinable courses consisting of course work (36 units) and research project (6) units must be successfully completed for the award of EMBA with specialization.

Mode of Delivery

The course shall take one calendar year with an extension of at least six months to allow the student to complete his/her project. The programme will be offered by course work and examinations.
The mode of study will be evenings and weekends.
Friday evenings 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Saturdays 8:00am – 5:00pm

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have a working experience of at least five years (post-qualification) in a senior management level; PLUS

A CPA (K)/ CPS (K) certificate or equivalent OR
A Higher National Diploma in Business studies (KNEC) or its equivalent professional certificate , that is,
An ATPL license with at least 5 years working experience
Licenses of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with 10 years working experience
Air Traffic Controllers with three OR four ratings, pus seven and five years’ experience respectively
