BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BBA) AT IAT

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. KCSE aggregate of C+, with a C and above in Mathematics or any other qualification approved by the Maseno University senate
2. KCSE aggregate of C and a relevant Diploma
3. A-level: 2 principles and one subsidiary OR one principle with 2 subsidiaries and a Diploma
4. KCSE aggregate of C- and a Certificate and relevant Diploma

BACHELOR OF BUSINESS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (BBIT)

To be eligible for the admission into the Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT), a candidate must meet the minimum Maseno University academic qualification requirements as given below;
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. An aggregate grade of C+ in K.C.S.E. and a minimum grade of C in Mathematics OR
2. TWO Principal passes in “A” Level/Kenya Advanced Certificates of Education (KACE) OR CUE/ NEC recognized Diploma holders in related areas are eligible to join first year with exemptions.
3. Any other equivalent qualifications approved by the school of Business and Economics and the university senate.

DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (DIT)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted into Diploma in ICT Management, a candidate must satisfy the minimum admission requirements as follows:

• A certificate in the relevant field

DURATION
The duration of the programme shall normally be Two Academic Years

DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (DBA)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted into Diploma in Business Administration, a candidate must satisfy the minimum admission requirements as follows:

• Mean grade of C in KCSE with C- in Math
• A certificate in the relevant field

DURATION
The duration of the programme shall normally be Two Academic Years

CERTIFICATE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (CBA)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The university admission requirements shall apply.
The applicant must have:-

• KCSE Mean Grade D+ (plus) with D+ in English and D in Mathematics or Business Studies.

DURATION
The duration of the programme shall normally be Two Academic semesters.

CERTIFICATE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (CIT)

The duration of the programme shall normally be Two Academic semesters
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
To be admitted into Certificate in ICT, a candidate must satisfy the minimum admission requirements as follows:

1. KCSE candidates with a mean grade of D+ and D or above in Mathematics and English.
2. KCSE mean grade D with Proficiency Certificate in Computer Application Packages of Maseno University Information Technology centre and may be granted credit transfers in the relevant courses as approved by the School of Computing Informatics.
3. Other qualifications recognized and accepted by Maseno University Senate.
4. KCSE mean grade D with CISCO IT Essentials.
