B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry

KCSE with C+ (plus) mean grade. In addition, a student must have C+ (Plus) in

Chemistry C+ (plus) and Pass in any two of the following alternatives

Biology C-, Physics C- and Mathematics C- (BCM pass). Or

A minimum of 2 principal passes in science subjects in KACE, of which one must be in

Chemistry.

Or A Credit Diploma in the relevant science subjects from an institution recognized by the

University Senate, Or Any other qualifications accepted by the University Senate as

equivalent to any of the above.

NB: Diploma Holders with at least Credit Pass may at the discretion of the College

will join 2nd year of study

B.Sc. Analytical Chemistry

KCSE with C+ (plus) mean grade and a C+ (Plus) in Chemistry. In addition, applicant(s)

must have passed in two subjects from the following alternatives with a C+(plus) and above;

Alternative A: Mathematics and Physics or Alternative B: Mathematics and Physical

Science

Or Any other qualifications accepted by the University Senate as equivalent to any of the

above.

NB: Diploma Holders with at least Credit Pass in relevant subjects may be allowed to

join 2nd year of study.

B.Sc. Biotechnology

KCSE with C+ (plus) mean grade. In addition, applicants(s) must have a minimum C+

(plus) in Biology and C-(minus)

in Mathematics plus either of the following

combinations: C- (minus) in Physics and Chemistry or C- (minus) in Physical Science

and Geography/Agriculture

Or A minimum of two principal passes in Science subjects in KACE one of which must

**This course offers statistical techniques and methodology for Design of experiments,

analysis of data and other areas of statistics within life sciences. **

**This course focuses on statistical science and its application to real problems. Statistical

techniques and methodologies including collecting, compilation and designing of

experiments and analysis of data are handled. **
