The goal of the programme is to develop public health professionals who are knowledgeable, competent and transformative leaders with values, ethics and the capability to effectively manage public health care.
The development of Masters in Public Health is informed by Amref Health Africa’s firm foundation in community health practice and health systems strengthening for over 60 years and Africa’s need for competent health practitioners who are well equipped to effectively implement the Universal Health Coverage agenda which ensures equitable access to health care.

Course Majors
The following specialisations are available for the two year programme:

A basic degree relevant to the applicant’s area of specialization, including Biological, Social and Health Sciences or other closely allied disciplines

Upper Second class honours and above in relevant discipline or its equivalent from a university recognised by Amref International University Senate

At least ONE year working Experience

Any other qualification as recognized by the university Senate
